Thaksin Green University "TSU GREENHEART"

           Thaksin University has 2 campuses that have buildings for academic purposes. Songkhla campus is located in an urban environment while Phatthalung campus is located in a rural setting. The climate in our region is tropical wet. The total number of Bachelor and Master Degree students is 12,153 (based on academic year 2016). The total number of academic and administrative staff working at our university is 1,135. The total area of our university is 4,867,200 square meters, including 439,757 square meters occupied by buildings and 412,800 square meters covered in vegetation in the form of forests owned by the university.  Since last year, Thaksin University has put forth an effort to increase the green area within the university by growing plants, fruits and gardens.

Thaksin University has a water absorption area of 340,736 square meters, which is 7.02% of the total university area.  In addition, the area covered in planted vegetation is 206,400 square meters, which is 4.24% of the total university area.
